I bought these microphones to be mounted on a low freetless that I made. The model is a form of jazz bass body is rosewood. The resulting sound is warm with the possibility trs by pushing the mids a bit to get a sound that goes easely trs above the battery. The amp I use is a fender bassman, I can only advise these microphones only complaint is that they are a bit expensive. But for a team which one is low it's worth. Personally I am so pleased that I plan to change the handle of my bass has become the weakest link of all
