«  Class! ... »

Yeah, these pickups sound!

My bass is a model not common, since it is a kit-based ESP brand elements, a handle and a Precision Bass body, a violin I have gained 20 years ago at MC2 Bordeaux.
At the time, I pushed the active pickups Reflex (UK brand) that I also sell ...

But I longed to return to passive pickups, and of good quality if possible.

It seemed that these active pickups (the SLR) smoothed over the sound from the acoustic
(Cello), I was a little taken aback by these microphones that removes many shades, ideal for funk or metal but not for me, with my game subtle.

My research led me to Crel and something attracted me, attracted to the holistic approach,
the "speech" without bragging, just the guy who looks to be honest. . . the fact implement the following components for extensive, and the fact that it is not too far from me (I'm 2 hours from Pau), short I started by guessing that I was not mistaken . . . but without really knowing. . .

I received my order in 3 days, I went to Bordeaux to buy parts I missed, (knobs, condo, jack and cable) and got attacked for assembly.
As I am a slow, it took me four hours, and I expect that it does not necessarily work. . .
Just plugged it worked directly on the plane and was able to provide tasty bite to the delights of these microphones. . .

It works very very well. . .

Very little interference, significantly less than the Fender Jazz Bass Mexico which I used last year, an impressive dynamic, I almost feel like much dynamic range with a bass. . . I touch the strings, they whisper ... I slap violent and I find myself confronted with the limits of the instrument and amp, but not to those microphones. . . I can not wait to try on the big stuff amplification to see who gives the first, stringed instruments, amplification or microphones? ......

In repeats, compared to the Jazz Bass that I quoted earlier, the difference is phenomenal ...

Where I hammered to get sound, with Crel I support a little more. . that's all. . .
I play generally thinner, quieter ... far more nuanced. . . and the sound is much richer than I am when I leave notes and sound is a treat ... that grain!
The drummer, the singer made me positive thoughts on the audibility and clarity of sound heard .. I am surprised and almost "by-play" when he should fit in fine in the overall mix so that answers ...
In short, it works very well!

It cost me 139 Euros with the port (just mics) I added about 35 Euros of components,
around 175 Euros all inclusive and I do not regret a thing, not having discovered these pickups sooner!
