I tried a few microphones before it (Di Marzio, Fender, Bartolini) but Crel best met my expectations in terms of sound.
No sound too twangy in the bridge position, specific attacks a response to the perfect shades, not too acute present.
However big downside: very sensitive to noise on stage.
So I changed to a Silent JB42 that rule this concern.
Noted that I use on a 5-string bass without any concern for capture or balance between strings.
