Published on 01/16/13 at 18:36I just mount them on my bass to replace my Ernie Ball If serious because my lack of definition.
They have a little less brightness, the sound is more "fat" returns more than in my old strings and their roughness except a little larger, they are very nice. I think also more balanced, they are cheaper and I do not collect ropes more ground.
The basis of the B string bass tapers gradually to a better contact with the bridge, the sound is more result sets and has better sustain.
This is a real gem for this type of tuning, no need to buy to play 5-string bass or strings to the unit, which in both cases is more expensive.
We'll see how they behave over time, but they sound really good.
