« A projo intéréssant! »
Published on 10/28/12 at 12:26I was led to use these projos by chance, a client ridding me donated 4 machines HS.
A changers already know that these are manufactured by Futurelight dress, the last version of this brand is the 250XT Beam, only the sheet and display slightly different.
Overall, this machine has two color wheels, one of which is usable linearly DMX, the second one has 3 primary colors, two color temperature correction (CTO and CTB), 3 different beamwidths, and finally two interchangeable gobos.
Not much to complain about except the lack of a TRUE red dress in the classic. Other colors do their job, the CTO is a little too saturated, too bad.
It then has a dedicated shutter motor, it does a good job, responsive and bright strobe, nothing to say.
Last module of the dimmer, which is the output beam, it has been studied well enough to induce the least possible deformation of the beam. A special feature of this is its use dimmer dimmer frost. The other side of the dimmer blade, cut the same way as the conventional dimmer is to add a filter frost, very nice.
Reliability level, well most of the concerns that you may encounter on this machine comes from the wiring harness, which tend to wear out over time, just need a soldering iron in hand and it is again for a long time.
The power is good, provided by a lamp MSD250, be careful to set the hotspot to have a homogeneous beam.
Finally, we can adjust the focus and zoom manually via two thumbscrews located at the top of the unit.
A good machine performance honest and easy to find in occaz in Futurelight or dress, so the parts are.
