Participants in the Toontrack Metal Guitar God 2013 contest must download from Toontrack website the Periphery Erised modified backtrack and record their best guitar solo, wether on a video that can be posted on YouTube, or an audio track, before October 20th, 23:59.
A public vote will choose 15 laureates through November 21st and the three grand winners will then be chosen by a professional jury on November 22nd. The Metal Guitar God 2013 will receive a $4900 prize comprising a Jackson B7 Deluxe 7-string electric guitar, a Toontrack sound software bundle as well as a $150 coupon to be used on Jam Track Central.
The second prize is a Jackson JS32–7Q Dinky, a 25-library/software bundle by Toontrack and a $75 coupon for Jam Track Central, while the third prize is the same Toontrack bundle and a $75 coupon to be spent on Jam Track Central.
