On a beautiful morning in December 2013, I went to zieuter Bag Paris in search of either a China or a cymbal effect.
Being accustomed Zildjian (full equipped) I tested naturally cakes that mark, then the other.
Finally my heart swung between HHX Ozone 16 and K EFX but none of these two beautiful delight me. Not flying spend my money for a non-cymbal "coup de coeur" I was leaving when the seller told me: "But since you liked that China is low and you have more K and Avedis in your set, just try Meinl ". I had to make a funny face as he soon added, "but not the one I'm talking about is a real Turkish cymbal, away from the usual productions Meinl, shrill".
Curiex I went and tried and there: THE SLAM: it is however a crash, not a cymbal effect but whether single crash or accent, it is perfect: the complex (almost) a K, so explosive with a decay very fast and with a range of its own, differente of Z.
This is my first infidelity to Z and I never thought I'd buy uneMeinl one day, like what ...
It was fortunate I repeated after 1 hour, 3 hours, I had the time to listen and I confirm: AMAZING and SUPER!
