«  Does the job of two pedals »

Published on 05/05/12 at 13:41
This is a pedal that makes digital Reverb and Delay in a pedal.
- A button to "balance" between the clean and the effect
- A button "tone" when you are alone and reverb "F.BACK" when one is in delay or reverb-delay
- A button "R.time" for the length of the reverb reverb mode, and "D.TIME" when one is in delay or reverb-delay
- A selection button to toggle between reverb and delay ... which is not notched, the light flashes when moving a segment ... have to be careful what we do
It has:
- 3 delay modes - short - medium - long (with adjustable delay time)
- 4 modes delay + reverb, then the delay is adjustable from shortest to longest and mode change'm just changing the style of reverb
- 4 reverb mode only found also delay + reverb mode, either: "Small room", "big room", "Concert Hall" and "flat"
you can set the tempo by pressing the pedal 2 seconds.
It has one input and two outputs if you want to plug it in stereo.
the pedal is plastic. It parrait heavy for its manufacture, but it is because below the non-slip pad there is a plaque which increased the pedal (not that it flies to the first kick). Once this plate is removed, it weighs nothing.
to put the battery it's just super hard because it is below the part that is pressed (I looked underneath by removing the plate for nothing ... must read the manual before:-P
This is putting a stack we realize that the switch that engages the pedal is actually a tiny electronic switches supported by the upper part of a rocking pedal ... So if it works well, to get out the soldering iron and do the garbage to find a replacement if you do not have a local electronics store for you (they are usually found in all devices that have buttons contact, hi-fi, video player, TV ... We just have to tinker, and this pedal for its price, is not planned for it too)

UTILIZATION

The manual is clear and easy to use, no worries on that side

SOUND QUALITY

this is the digital ... therefore rendering is not super friendly. This is a "2 in 1", was not much choice on the reverb and delay except the rehearsal space, and they all sound the same, no choice between one type over another warm .. .
After you have to play with the "tone" of the reverb and the guitar (see the amp).
Sure the sound quality compared to other pedals, is not transcendent, but it does the job and it's cheap.

OVERALL OPINION

I mainly purchased to travel with my mandolin, not just me lugging two heavy pedals (which I have already). These are the main effects that I use with my mandolin, so having the 2 in 1's fine with me. I plug it all on a Vox Twin Amplug which additionally has a chorus and it rolls.
Against it is very likely that I turn the bottom plate, which increased the pedal, it weighs less history in the suitcase, and I do not like the scene with, and I spend my time not to press the pedal, it not interfere.
I have a T-rex tonebug reverb and delay Flashback TC electronic, and inevitably there is frankly a lot better, nothing to do, but I wanted a travel model, and it will serve me in possibly adding a effects loop.
Now, do I do it again ... this choice? Quoted price, yes, especially since there I have the equivalent of 2 pedals ... but I wait to see how long it will take before I comment ;-)
But for those who do not have much money, even if they are pedals "cheap" side of fabrication, it is always better than nothing, you just have to be careful and not jump off joint too often ...
the downside is the battery change ... too much hassle, and ... I do not know how long it lasts, a selection button notched would have been nice, but ... As it works.
