Very good console in terms of its number of entries, routing, automation, extensions and interfaces
available on the market (ADAT, TDIF, analog, aesebu, clocks apogee, DSP cards .... etc)!
Given this performance, no one comes close in its price range

The only problem! it does not sound, the preamps are really means, the sound (even in LINE) is soft,
the eq and other compressors are really not good!
(Apparently, there would be improvements in version 5 of the system
but I could not try it because it is not free and not give it - a $ 300 download)

In my opinion, this console is perfect for pre-mix of synthesizers, manage the effects returns or make the post-sync
but do not try to mix the rock band above ca Voil sound cold and confused!

a great success in marketing but mackie
yaa seen it inside (it's a vulguaire PC with a control panel deporte few chips dsp +), I'm not surprised that the selling off right now for less than 9000 euros
Note, however, the current price is without extensions and extensions are expensive and essential!

UTILIZATION

The D8B is very easy to use! Over two days more than enough!
The ergonomics are well researched!
The manual is very well done and clear copy!

SOUNDS

NO, NO and NO

OVERALL OPINION

1 year - I appreciate all functions except the sound it provides -
report QUALITY / PRICE?? It depends on what is meant by "Quality"
