Published on 02/18/14 at 00:47Super digital console when I bought it, it was basically the first digital console available (less than 20,000 Francs). She has fulfilled her contract without problem.
(I always have the throne and in my home studio to enter the beef tps tps with friends).
It embodies the least of all digital: it's hard to age at the inputs (A / D), difficult to repair because this type of components is easier because of the rapid advance of digital technologies.
In comparison, I still have my A PM1800 analog which sounds like the first day perfectly without any trouble.
I put him still a 9/10 because everything else is a bit interesting and be recycled as a small mixer (with still functional inputs) or as a control surface tools because it is completely noon.
In addition, little touch used small prizes which may allow you to build config cheap
UTILIZATION
The manual is a bit thick (but hey, there are lots of function so ....), but it is very intuitive, so easy to use.
Functions are less accessible than on an analog console, but for small concerts without sound engineer, it does so without problem.
SOUNDS
Not bad at all, (the presence of a little breath after 20 years)
(For its price range, knowing that it is the pioneer in digital)
Very effective cool effects, and corrections (real parametric)
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 20 years, I trimballée on lots of small concerts, piano bar, in répétiton ... and held the road (I'm a bit careful)
Most:
it is complete, compact, ideal for sound to small places (rehearsal studio, piano bar ...)
Cons: do not hold over time (compared to analogue equipment, and after 20 years still XD).
