Value For Money : Excellent
I use it for 4 years now, it comes more often see scenes and did a bit of computer music and suffered my exercises at home.
I tested a few models before you buy, in roland, yahama, kawai, korg ... I tested its big brother the north course that really attracted me. I wanted a keyboard together the rhythmic sounds of the game kind funk / hip-hop / reggae.
I finally fonçé the Nord Electro when the right opportunity had come.
This keyboard is great for the scene. It is not very heavy and concentrated everything a funky / groovy / reggae (wo) man can want. Emulations of clavinettes and rhodes are very satisfactory (even today). The organ is also very good, obviously it starts to be less at the forefront as the latest emulations emerging Clavia but the sound generation still defends well and does its job.
The downside concern velocity, the expression is a fair bit although quite playable. Featherweight gear also like the fact that it is a semi-weighted touch (organ type) and it does not offer optimum comfort for playing or rhodes piano for example. The piano sounds are also below the rest. The other downside is the fact that the keyboard is not splitable once all that in mind you know what to expect.
A sound bank is directly chargeable to the Clavia site and has the option to put in his beast what is available.
The price / quality ratio is really good, it is not cheap as the solid construction of the machine (Clavia excels) and the use for which it is intended must necessarily cost a ball in the construction / design. But who wants solid Clavia wants.
I remake this choice because I am quite satisfied.
