The trident is very effective, I use two units mainly in automatic mode, although they can also be controlled by DMX. The advantage over a derby for example, is that the beams go into all angles and therefore it easily covers a fairly large room, ceiling floor, walls, it goes in all directions.
I also noticed that the "robot" look impressed the public, which I did not expect. It is much more expensive than a slave, however it creates and reinforces the perception of professionalism and it is always useful when doing an evening in order to retain and find new dates. It is therefore a good investment.
It's reliable, lightweight, efficient and cheap, no reason not to buy it.
