Quote: - How long have you use it?

About 4 months before I had a Pearl Power Shifter but I found too soft and not flexible I went to yamaha (under the guidance of a pot to me)

Quote: - What is so special that you like most and least?

Plus: Well it's a pedal very precise thanks to the Direct Drive, even at high speed always pedal responds to quarter turn, she answers instentanément, very accurate, super flexible, I was pretty discomfort at the beginning I who had a habit of old buggers on my Pearl and right there I could not feel at all under the foot pedal so I had to start slowly and then make some adjustments, it is very quiet when we play, but if s' fun to just put his foot on the direct drive is a monster mess but fortunately it does not move when the pedal is in action;)

The least: The spring is naz, too long / soft, so even in the block to shake the pedal is not really nervous, I prefer a harder spring, especially to play fast, then I had to reduce bat 15cm from the skin to have a strong back asser. The spring is a big downside of this pedal.
Another negative point, the cardent is very short, so you have to play tight! I too liked so I went double bass drum as it allows to decide in 2 single pedals easily. (Ps: I always look for a bass drum, see my ad!)

Quote: - Have you tried many other models before buying it?

At the very beginning I had a double pedal Maxtone (real shit) ultra heavy, ultra soft, but hey it was uncontrollable when I started! Then came the power shift, it has done serious! and then the yamaha beats them all without problems on several levels.

Quote: - How would you rate the quality / price?

Dear, I paid € 400 and at that price, I think they could make more effort at the finish of the pedal, a little play-by here and there (especially in the direct drive) and then review the system's home bass drum is really crap (super fast super fast but attached also detached unintentionally of course), so a bit disappointed but hey, it meets almost all my expectations so okay.

Quote: - With experience, you do again this choice? ...

Hmm, I know, if I had more money I would be very tempted by the DW9000 and if it does not suit me I will take probably the yamaha.

Well I passed on the Yamaha (for really cheap), now I have a Pearl Eliminator and tears! I will never take over the Yamaha.
