The handle is quite enjoyable & "mild" although (for beginners) strings backgrounds are very tight (for beginners, consider adopting a rope more "flexible")

I would say yes, the sound is good and powerful enough.

I play pop / rock, and personally it was very well rpond my expectations.

Overall opinion:
A Fender! And true! In this price range and more (about 110)! I recommend this guitar to beginners or leisure trips around a campfire at the beach ... Although the string tension is lifted, (you get used quickly to possibly blisters on the fingers), the sound remains clear, and especially powerful.
