Published on 06/18/02 at 15:00My dad got this guitar at Music & Arts just to try something new. He payed about $260 for it.
I like how the 2 low strings sound, they have a nice tone, but, the other 4 sound horrible to me. I has a nice black finish, that's probably why my dad kept it, 'cause he doesn't like the tone. Stays in tune a long time, but I don't see him playing it a lot, so that's the reason.
Bad tone on the other 4 strings, horrible. Frets buzz all the time. Can't bend the strings.
High quality, what you expect from Fender. I accidentally bumped it into the wall like a million times, it is still okay. The pickguard is coming off (And he doesn't even play with a pick}
It isn't worth the price, I don't know about the acoustic-electric but this one isn't worth it, get a Stratocaster from Musician's Friend and have fun with it.
