Ddi Synthtiseur analog rhythms and a little more ...

Eight of the modules each with seven paramtres:
1 kick (decay / pitch / bend / time / wave / noise / attack)
2 drum (decay / pitch / bend / attack / fm intensity / fm frequency / wave)
A multi (decay/pitch/bend/attack/pitch2/pitch3/cut off high-pass filter)
Snare 1 (decay reverb / reverb / decay noise / noise / attack / resonance & cut off low-pass filter)
2 hi hat (decay / resonance & cut off low-pass filter / bend / attack / mix / pitch)
Clap 1 (decay reverb / reverb / clap / noise / resonance & cut off low-pass filter / cutoff high-pass filter)

Plus the Controller of individual volume and pan, made knobs ... 72! ... Then a Full Control!

MkIII appear different version of Previous by replacing one of the three modules of a kick drum. In addition, the distortion becomes Submitted on drum "wave" that can move from a sine wave square wave.

A headphone jack, a master Stereo, eight mono outputs (one per module) and the jack while 6.3! This is an expander so you have the CONTRL via the squence noon. It is therefore a quip in mid and thru port (for CONTRL another device). Note that the notes can dclencher hand on the synth with the trigger buttons. Optionally, the notes can be dclenches by "trigger inputs" for Systmes squenant by CV.

UTILIZATION

The whole synth seems robust: mtale hull, leaving no output jacks to play rsistants Cables and knobs.

The arrangement of knobs for each module is horizontal and the space between each Controller was OK.

The manual (in English and German) is quite simple and is used primarily when rgler notes and midi channel. There are also the choice of precision Cables for individual outputs.

SOUNDS

It has become the only srieux!

First kick: it is monstrous! We can CRER a boom like a 808 or 909 kick without problem. With the sum of paramtres adjustable foot is refined as you want and the sounds are really original. The decay can switch from a short kick trs trs sec snoring a bass drum. The pitch achieves diffrent sound from the kick to blasters, blipblip & co. It dpend lot of the envelope (bend / time). A discreet enough noise that adds a little distortion to the waveform edge. Wave is also essential to transform a bunch kick in kick grin or even 8-bit.
The attack, like all modules team, adds to the signal waveform trs short that is more or less snapping sound.

The drum may be the most versatile module. It allows CRER the bass drum and tom the base. But the modulation frequency drives increases the range of sounds couraging. With two modules, you can count on some polyphony. I could CRER bass sounds rich trs wave function which give all its importance: to reproduce a filter effect on the signal which can then purr or stepfather trs acid.

The multi seems curious beginners. It quickly cre cowbell, woodblocks ... I managed to use it more for synth sounds pretty fat (trs pitch below). It has an oscillator with a sine wave form that can be refined or drgler with two other identical oscilloscope, which produces a rich sound.

The snare is mchante! With a big reverb and a soft noise, it produces snare varied in color change at all with any filter.

The hat is very discreet indeed. It looks like they are shooting the CR78! That - that far from trs a cymbal sound. But it's the intrt of synths, is not it? Gnrateur by removing the noise with the mix knob, you get CRER sounds DIFFERENT, small blips nice. Note that there is an open and a closed hat for both modules. There are four MIDI notes assigned to hat.

The clap is trs work in its parameter. Clap function can transform the appearance of the base signal which is then enriched with a reverb and a noise like that of the snare. Both filters are also important in the final rendering of the clap. I like when DDouble the snare.

This product therefore trs synth sounds good in the vein of electronic br of the 80's and goes much further versatilis To create different sounds and more experimental.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year and frankly I find that there is nothing cast in this expander.

I waited a long time before I shall decide to buy it because it's a big investment (Thomann 566euros) but worth it, especially since the mkIII version which for the same price as the mkII offers a real kick pchu (which I think lacked a bit in previous versions).

I find that there is no comparison in this sector within ddier more synths and drum sounds, I do not see. The beasts do not have as much rhythm parameter. On the other ct does not the Vermona squenceur. This may be a weakness and requires to combine the stuff.
The other weakness is the lack of memory bank for rglages but such a function would increase the price srieusement ...
