I have this drumkit for a little over a month. Apart from mounting a bit long, I was surprised by the overall quality of the instrument. First, the beast is varnished wood (birch SVP), the toms are equipped with the new GTS system so dear to the new series Gretsh, double shells, strapping large wooden crate, disassembly system skins fast everything is !!!!! Same skin REMO (UK certainly, but it is already better now that certain brand more upscale!). The hardware is superb, large diameter, stand with DC offset system with ultra-low setting (DW), Charleston adjustment of chain tension quickly (only the key is limited because Serage bad material or casting flaws I know! !) a foot cymbals like the rest 32 mm rings with memory.
At the sound to be clear, I quickly changed my skin, namely a powerstroke on my CC, aquarian performance 2 on tom 12, a pinstripe on the 16 per cons I kept the can of bass drum is excellent thanks to muzzle incorporated notement (remo too).
The snare of 5.5 by 14 sec but delivers a very powerful and that with several skins (evans, remo origin and 2 tested) on the other hand personalitée it clearly lacks is the element that disappointed me on this kit.
Tom of 12 suspended, is very powerful, with bass and treble but very present mids behind. A sacred sound, projection grosee, ditto for the 10 but I use it very peu.Le tom 16 is really strong with this very serious and a capacity adjusting étendue.Je very end by the bass drum, my shot heart, a killer! I play with a double and therefore élémination I am sensitive on this point and then I just tell you it's really great items!! everything is there, this is a wonder how they did at this price !!!!!
I played on large drums (export series, tama, sonor) and frankly at some point, Basix is a lesson to those marks and probably others.
Biensur I do not regret this choice in some cases, a council does not stop at the price of this drumkit because other brands sell the same thing (see less) more expensive.
If your budget is between 600 and 1100 euros, you seriously consider this kit.
I spent months making the round before acquiring it so it's not a favorite but a thoughtful purchase. There.

Well, after almost a year of use, I stay on my starting position.
I addition Leverage sound of this drumkit with skins remo ambassador white tom and a DC dry hd.
Big improvement from the CC, the GC is still good and nothing has changed in terms of hardware to share the hi-hat that has seen its dial tension along the breaks!
I'll still keep it before I turn to a model by Drumsound.
If you hesitate to go for PB on the drumkit!

After 2 years of use and numerous concerts, the situation is less flamboyant. If the sound, the wood does not move, by the hardware into balls everywhere. A tom that has loose, pedal gc HS HS hihat, snare defective foot, screw tom arm hang. Fortunately the sav BASIX ensures even out of warranty. Autrment always a good drumkit and still the best value / quality / price.
