This drumkit is amazing for the price. I use it in the studio for 6 years and it sounds really powerful. SM 58 with the kick drum you get to have depth!
The Snare is magical (the wood deep) and it provides opportunities for its pretty amazing.
I tried many batteries before you buy and its price range I found nothing like that at that time (2000). I tried the Sonor Force 2000, Force 2001 and the Mapex, Yamaha and Tama diffrence but my ear was pretty obvious for a 2000 budget cymbals included.
Even if it is intended to cardboard music (rock, hard, etc. ...), it is trs home in funk, fusion, etc ...
