They have a "sound" I would say trs dry and that's what I look for in my rhythm. Trs dry but some fluidity. My advice, go against, strongly change the skins. They are, in my opinion not suitable for this drumkit. What I will do soon. What I do not go against it's my ride cymbal / crash. But it's not really relevant to the fts. They are the medina. I will change against the Zildjian ZXT, which have nothing to do with the medina. For the price quality ratio, I still pretty good. I bought it new: 500. For the cheaply, I would do the same choice. But I would take quality cot another, higher-end, as the Sonor Force 3003.
