I purchased the Sonor Force 3001 Fusion 2 set (10,12,14,20,14S) off of eBay for $599.

This set is incredible for $599. I wouldn't expect anything close to it for less than $1200 or $1300. The set is made of 9 ply Maple/Basswood/Basswood and sounds phenomenal. The finish I bought (Carribbean Blue-Green)is gorgeous and really durable, there's not a scratch on it yet! The bass drum sounds HUGE. I used (and am still using)the factory heads, on all the drums, and the bass didn't even need dampening, it sounded great. The toms have a really full, open tone and sound better when tuned higher. I'm getting some Evans G2's to replace the current heads. The snare is great, it has a very wide tuning range and can be VERY loud when tuned properly. The hardware is remarkably sturdy, and can hold a lot of weight. I have a splash stacked over a ride, the 14" tom, and a cowbell on one stand, and its as solid as a rock.

It would be nice if the factory heads were some Remo Pinstripes, but its not that big of a deal. The 10" tom has a very short sustain, and almost sounds choked at times, but it may be that I have it tuned to high (which is very possible). The snare has a little bit of a problem with the snares rattling when you play all the other drums. Otherwise, everything is great.

Great quality from a great company. Sonor has always made incredible drums at great prices. All lugs and hardware are tight with no rattling. Very nice overall.

This kit is THE BEST KIT FOR THE MONEY, period. This is the best deal out there by far, and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!!!
