«  Ideal for coffee concert »

Approximately 8 months
The + side portable, price, solid rack, the fastening system on the snare drum rack.
The - the bass drum, snare drum sound too steep (piccolo)
I tried a few drumkit models "classic" in the studio rehearsing or in concert.

Mine is equipped with hi hat zildjian 8 "tiny but it does, plus a splash that I use also ride (should take it easy). I intend to add soon a ripple of PST5 Paiste crash. I also have a tambourine on the rack.

Sound:
For rock, it is obvious that the kick does not send. I did an event in the snare of the GC and put some foam, it improves a bit, but it's still a free kick drum!)? It will try with a mic, but it's a bit complicated for the small coffee together.
In comparison, I was playing before a small system built around a converted floor tom drum (The baguetterie) and a snare that was actually just a tambourine. The sound of the kick was perfect punch, wooom with a high noise level less than 22 ".
The drum played with brushes nylon sounded very low, all gave her great. Of course, impossible to play with chopsticks and no effect of "stamp".
There, I admit being disappointed with the snare sound. I tried to tune (I'm not very good the above) put a towel on it (it reduces the volume and it also drops the note, but it still remains quite dry.
Okay, I confess I have not done too much testing but I think it is best to change the snare (I do not know if we can put a 14 "in the media, but 12 more deep c is safe and probably 13).
For the rest, I find it great, the toms sound great (it's a little rototom but it's nice), the foot of Charles is not bad at all, fairly flexible.
I use the pedal on my GC that I had 16 "I'll probably try to install it on the rack instead of the GC any platform.
Obviously, the big foot is when you have to lug around the concerts. It enters the car without removing anything (except the cymbals) and it is transported alone in a single journey between the car and the scene, then 5 minutes later, almost ready to play. Nothing to do with the galley of the transportation and installation of a "real" drums.
