You can buy ElectroVoice products with closed eyes. I bought it secondhand and I never had any problem except with the on/off switch I had to change two years ago. High output power (2 x 600 watts / 4 ohms) and the sound is perfect. The amp is not too heavy (my Phonic is much heavier) and it doesn't have any weaknesses.
It was my first PA amp. Even if it gets broken in the future I will keep it as a souvenir! Regarding the price, ElectroVoice products are not cheap and I probably couldn't buy one new!!
