I use it for 9 years on 8 ohm speakers.
In the era I qualitprix AIM reports (I'd pay ~ 5500 frs) and power / weight (around 16kg). Yamaha also a system that annona of Economy of energy, and sometimes finding myself in rooms limits juice, m'intressait this point, even if I do not really know what that there are (at least I've never had a break).
C'tait my first amp a little "pro", worthy of the name before I had a PSS, which worked fine, but big and heavy.
If I had to buy it, no problem. It turns trs well. FYI, I read that the P SERIES (1600, 3200 and 4500) of a second silent gnration a little worse (dynamic strength) But I do not know what it is.
I put 9 / 10 because there are always better
