AKG designed the dedicated BBB Dfive, developed in cooperation with the Beatbox Battle network, to cater specifically to the needs of beatboxers.
AKG designed the BBB DFive by taking its D5 and adding a new internal windscreen designed to prevent unwanted explosive sounds, as well as other improvements.
The microphone made its performance debut at the German Beatboxing Championships in Berlin this February.
In addition, the BBB DFive Beatbox Microphone comes in a new type of packaging looking like a can.
