Excellent
small effect, used once to date,
I enjoyed:
Simple device, and very compact, suitable for small mobile disco in small venues, parties with friends or at home
nice effect, reminiscent of the good old "AND" "Sapro" with beams more but less wide
Indeed cheap, and lamp (OMNILUX) provided so that it bought time soon is ready to be used, but this lamp is of poor quality (to be replaced by a halogen pencil great brand for an optimal and a longer duration)
I regretted
A relatively low power, lack of sharpness, and overall manufacturing very light.
The lack of fan (although the location to mount is obviously intended!)
Low sensitivity to music and low range adjustment potentiometer, sufficient for use with a sound but too insensitive for a job with a home stereo (unfortunately, this little device will agree well in this type of context)
The aircraft, nine, came with his screw loosens power transformer! (Do not empéchais operation, but if you want to tighten avoid failure silly after a period of use!)
Note: The sensitivity can be improved, to trigger a proper stereo (at least 10W) by removing the unit and replacing the resistor "R10" 1M ohm 1/4W by 3.3 M- ohms.
Apparatus for amateur and small intermittent use, be who wins with a fan although it can function without (adding a PC fan 80 * 80 is easy)
Note: Suggested modifictions simple, requires a soldering iron, and are losing the warranty! (Not to make that case and familiarized with the appropriate tools!)
poor camera as is, and average use "at home" and after modification!
I would buy this product not knowing that it is inefficient for the discomobile in the room, and it is almost essential to revise and edit after purchase to have a reliable device, a sufficient sensibilitée a range of correct setting for home use.
I would say that this product is poorly made, and it is a considered a semi-finished kit handy with a soldering iron and some electronics conaissances!
