Published on 01/23/09 at 04:33Made in China for violin and electronics assembly and adjustment in Germany.
neck-7-ply mahogany (4) Walnut (3), scored 24 fretless frets, tuning fork 35 "
walnut table
both pickups active jazz
santander 18v preamp, 3voies: Severe acute medium (midpoint on the knobs), + Switch passive-active practice in case of failure of batteries!!
volume
a micro scale (midpoint)
trestle bridge individual strings across the table!
mechanical oil bath
Black satin finish
UTILIZATION
The handle is very nice with its polished satin, fine and fast, very easy to play!
Access to the treble is easy!
Ergonomics is very good, despite the weight of the beast, which all tend to place both horizontally, having regard to the normal size and therefore the weight of the neck and head!
it provides a sound and singing very wooded, which can go up to slap nasty.
corrections are effective without the preamp have huge breath.
For my part, the settings are almost neutral and already the preamp brings the heat!!
we can sculpt the sound simply and effectively, without altering the wooded!
SOUNDS
I love this bass is a real toy, despite its impressive size!
finger tapping and slap sound without changing the settings on !!!!!!!!
it is coupled to a Trace Elliot head and a modified baffle 1 * 15 "* 1 5" original alumabass!
a V-amp Behringer at home!
sounds ranging from big fat record straight but warm, all through the midrange singing.
I prefer to play 60/40 on the bridge pickup! but I also play on the neck pickup the pieces punchent!
I simply turn the preamp gain just to win and make it easier to sing ds mediums!
OVERALL OPINION
I have used for 6 months, paid € 340 for nine at the factory, this is my 3rd 6-string and I would change more!
was a favorite-gamble, which far exceeds my expectations !!!!!
to play on this bass I can assure you that the bass heads that cost over 500 €, it's smoke and mirrors !!!!!
I love the sustain driver of the handle!
value for the lowest price!!
the best investment I ever made, I can say the same for my warwick !!!!!!
only downside ... galley is to find a game in 6cordes 35 "(extra long scale)
