Recently (April 2011), the device has a new firmware that fixes a bug MIDI. We can now manage the Nova System completely from your computer via a MIDI interface.
Some complain distos then it is an analog technology (very rare on the multi-effects). We must adjust its gain and input "output range". Sounds are achieved truly remarkable.
UTILIZATION
Every effect is customizable and the number of parameters remarkably extended (12 for reverb!). Inevitably, it will take time to read the full potential of the Nova System.
The manual is clear and very helpful to understand what it is. But it's certainly not listening you realize the quality of onboard effects.
SOUND QUALITY
Top top top.
I use it on an electric violin and is very very clean.
I used the BOSS before. With the Nova System, it is well above.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for over a year and are no better in this price range.
For fans of his, it's a very good investment.
I remake that choice without hesitation.
