- How long have you use it?
just tried, and put on my Christmas list.

- What is so special that you like most and least?
development and wealth from the sv-120 and previous models.

- Have you tried many other models before buying it?
I use today sv-100, quite old. But it gives me any satisfaction.
I also have a ev-204, one of the first. very rich, slightly heavy, very fragile on the first series. I'm back to the sv-100.
It is fitted with Pirastro Olive. (And smile when I said the sellers that's one electric) I love these strings. the amp is the acoustic trace eliot (now in production again, but I turn to the "acoustic image".

- With experience, you do again this choice? ..
yes of course. I was looking for a first instrument that is not colored.
The SV100 is the wait. the 200 is much better, more productive, more purpose.
I said, after having tried many electric violins, including makers, only the Yamaha allowed me to go electric. Of course, my choice of string, the bow (a very good bow) are central in the game only allows me the electric (!) To explore sounds that do not "come out" not an acoustic. I was not looking for an electric guitar being played with a bow, and for that, I always thank yamaha.
