Clavia has released the v2.10 version of the OS of its Nord Drum machine.
What’s new in this update:
- FM-Synthesis added to the Tone section with 6 algorithms
- MIDI CC control for all the parameters
- New MIDI mode that allows for pitching each channel of the Nord Drum 2 with a MIDI keyboard/sequencer
- Reorganized memory into 8 banks of 50 programs each (400 locations in total)
- 4 new filter types for the Noise section: 12/24dB high-pass, 12dB low-pass and 6dB band-pass
- Improved Hand Clap mode
- Dynamic curves for pads and triggers
- New Nord Drum 2 Manager software for Mac and Windows for transferring Nord Drum 2 banks to your computer
- Various improvements
Clavia adds that, because of these important changes, differences can appear in the sound.
