Editable patches: 6 voices: Kick, snare & 4 different toms. Choice of 4 sounds per channel (12 bit sample (?)). Editing sound: Pitch, Gate, Env, Eq. Adjusting the sensitivity and decay of pitch bend,velocity sensitivity adj., pad sensitivity adj. (XLR trig), etc. ..

64 patches (drum sets) x 4 banks. memory catridge (c64 (?))

This machine is an alien.

Dpart to this is the "brains" of a drum kit ELECTRONIC dveloppe by Rol, pads send a simple electrical signal (5v?) Ds xlr to drive the six sounds. Normally, any sound amplification should be fine enough (test)

The sounds are powerful trs (12 bit) and grungy, particulirement the Bass drum (boooom) and the snare, but a ds style rather special, digital old style (quite tr-909).

Triggers can send notes (configurable) the midi out, midi channel and different! So actually a converter trig => midinote with the VLOC (ossi test, you say (or not if I forget) I know qd). I was wildly excites me all a. sisi.

I bought my DDR30 in 1985!!
Its LCD screen isn't that great, but it is indestructible!

Before that, I had a Klone Kit 2 (fragile) and used a Simmons (nice but overpriced) for three concert  (all before 1985). 
The DDR30 was very expensive at the time, over 20,000 Fr. Francs, but it was the latest tech! (equivalent of TD12)

Although deprecated in terms of technology, it is nevertheless MIDI (to control a sampler module for example) and possesses many vintage and original sounds.
