- What technical specifications have motivated your choice? Connectors, Firewire (I use it mainly with a laptop).
- For what purpose? Live recording with a laptop, multicasting for theater shows.
- What is your config (Map mother / CPU / Ram / Hard, ...)? PIV 2.80 GHZ, 512 MB, DD + DD40 external Firewire 200 GB. (Portable DELL Inspiron 5160)
- Which instruments or systems (console, prampli, DTD ...) you use it and how connections ... Use mobile engagement with a pair of Rode NT2000, the PG81 Shure SM57? ... prampli ART DPSII

USE
- Installation is it done without problem? Super easy to install. 5 minutes is enough. No soucy
- Have you encountered the incompatibilits? Not the least, and with 4 diffrentes machines with two laptops (one of them used with PCMCIA Firewire Gnrique card).
- Is Gnrale configuration is easy? Yes, more than easy because you can not work on anything
(which is after me to not always a good thing, but hey .... has a very well pass)
- The manual is clear and sufficient? ... Yeah, no ... But I have not had a need that?.
9 because you can not use multiple cards now ...
IMPLEMENTATION
- Are the drivers stable? Yes, no problem. Just a little regret they did not allow pou rl'instant to grate several FA101 to record 20 tracks simultannment (which can be gnial live) ... Shame ...
- Are they often put day? Very good question, thank you for laying
- What software do you use most often? Samplitude and it is a joy. Direct monitoring is great gr directly from the app (levels, pan between each of the interface) unlike my DSP2000 Hoontech. Finally a real treat.
- What you get lag? With my config, 8 ms without cracking. But I find that is when even a little to play in real time with VSTi (although it is said that it is not noticeable below 10 ms)
- How many tracks you record / play simultaneously recording 48 ... 10 kHz, 24-bit and reading for now thirty with some effects ... (in general, for? reading I usually increase the buffer size in order to gain stability.
8 because qu'oblig reboot the interface when changing frequency drives to chantillonage. I find not very practical. And I will be able to prfr grate from the driver ...

The ct + "mobile" of the beast, dynamics, correct pramps, the report quality unbeatable price
- Having to reboot the interface when you want to change the frquence chantillonage, not coax, and I am not convinced by the converters. Those of my MOTU 2408 are however only 48 kHz / 20 bits, parraissent me more transparent. I prefer my ears rely rather than numbers. It's fine to have a card that manages the 192 Khz, but hey ... So have a little less efficient converters that are more transparent after me. Lightweight breath out on this interface, not much on the headphone output level (test with AKG K271).
Anyway, I'm going to belittle arrter because for the price this is a great lil toy.
- Have you tried many other models before acqurir? Yes, some M Audio, RME Multiface (sounds much better, but also much more expensive), the Traveler home Motu (my dream lol).
- How do you report qualitprix? unbeatable after me. Besides the beast robust look great !!! Made to last for after me. Increuvable!
- With the exprience, you do again this choice ... With this budget, yes, with a little more money I let myself be tempted by a RME Fireface or MOTU Traveler?
