- What technical specifications motivated your choice?
the preamps, phantom power supply to the firewire, and especially the A / D converter
- For what purpose?
Just to record my voice.
- What is your config (motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
Motherboard: ASRock 4CoreDual VSTA
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 o / ca 2.5gh / z
Ram: 2 * 1 GB (660mh / z)
- Which instruments or Systmes (console, prampli, DTD ...) you use it and how connections? ...
Only one M-audio nova, connect with the EDIROL FA-66 with an XLR cable.
UTILIZATION
- Installation is it without problem?
you put the cd, it starts the install and used as directed, 1 minutes later while walking.
- Have you experienced any incompatibility?
None.
- The configuration gnrale is easy?
Yes, but at the same time saw the use that I do I just turn the knob of the preamp.
- The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
I do not know if it's enough as it is given in English. I think not pass cot nothing, but for people not using more bilingual capabilities of this card it must be irritating. if you pay 300 a product can be expected that the manufacturer is made a translation of the manual ... (yes it's a small rant)

again seen the use that I made, I aps really get to push these defenses ... so yes I managed to record 6 tracks simultanment but it has surely more in the stomach. for reading a 24-track ca still rolling well trs.

+: C simple, you plug it and install it works.
+: The power via firewire c very practical, in real I never touch the on / off button, the map lights and s'teind with my pc.
+: The quality of preamps even if I feel that opinions are divided on this level. at least a couple m-audio nova which is not really a monster, the knob of the preamp is only half and I can push it to 9/10eme before hearing the slightest breeze, I in the clear margin. In addition to the preamp is trs transparent quality for some default for the other ... but its good for its color nothing beats a preamp a lamp, and the sound is good potato, do not wait a sound card or a preamp ... rather blame your compressor.

not. Before that I was satisfied with a sound card to my motherboard Intgr ... no need to say it changed my life ...

before buying it I went through the reviews and forum Audiofanzine, I spent time chatting to a playback embter these poor sellers and each time I came to this conclusion: edirol fa -66.
I finally decided to pay 300 (tearing ^ ^) and I'm not really dcu. I would do not only this choice, but I'll keep that particular card a long time for a home studio c more than enough.
