I was looking for an external sound card.
The Firewire interface is the fastest and easiest to use. (The usb2 me parrait not as fast - After a few tests of course - that the firewire)
I would also be able to connect PC and Mac without making head.

UTILIZATION

Installed on the Mac FW port 6 pin
Hard Drive 300GB FireWire port on branch 4-pin FW
Korg MIDI ports on N5ex

Plug'n play it: I plugged in I turned ... I test: a walk.
too simple, I looked for what might not work, so I plugged in my life MIDI synth ... no prob.

GETTING STARTED

I'm not a pro of music but I find the utiliastion so simple that it's troubling.
When I see the galre it on my pc even not attempt the test.
recognized with GarageBand, Live test with, it works impeccable '
For the record, I have not tried.

The blue Power LED is too bright: it is a little teachers.
Other peoples leds too.

The connection is not great but derrire the srigraphie on top helps a lot.

Well, After a few tests, between sounds are corrupted:
for a signal, we must put the knobs of sensitivity to max. , An on / off button would have made the case ...
This problem is Submitted for inputs 1, 2, 3 and 4 (the only tested: no test between the numrique).

OVERALL OPINION

I installed it last night, not many hours of use ...
Yet I am satisfied because I really trs wasted no time installing / grip.

Following the tests for registration, I am the super. I do not know if this problem on the range or only a few copies.
I try to have the hotline with information ... unreachable.
