UTILIZATION
- The configuration is very simple, I have a little misery for multi-track via USB.
- The manual is convenient for all the hard part, however the soft part is the solitude.
- The usual functions are all accessible.

- The gain knob is' achement pleasant passage, like the rest of the knobs and faders though we may regret the size of eq.
- The different busses are super practical and very clean, they have an insert, such as inputs (except hybrid stereo, stereo mode) and most outputs.
- The stereo inputs are switchable to mono (mic or line, great) and in this case have an insert but "suffering" of a 4 non-parametric bands.
- The are configurable for pre / post
- The busses monitors (2) are pre / post eq (cool to send the usb).
- The stereo channels can be "overide" by usb.
- The stereo returns (2 symmetrical) have a dedicated knob (20 dB) as well as buttons for selection / of busses (groups 1 and 2, 3 and 4 + master mono and stereo master).
- The matrix is a good idea, and also allows flexible breathe when you have a twisted idea behind the head, at least the following console routing level.
- The eq, which are detachable (super cool, that) are a bit small but hey, at this price and given their sound quality ...
- The 4 groups can operate in stereo pairs.
- The meters (tricolor LEDs) on each entry are practical, and across the screen and the lights are well thought out (they do not tear their eyes).
- Input talk back is super clean, the mic input is placed at the top right, next to a 4-pin XLR for a lamp, practice.
- In my config, solo work as pfl shipments for the headphone, they are real solos when "local" outputs are used, if I understand correctly, in my case the monitorings are connected to the stereo master bus.
- Please note, asio drivers of Venice U are not compatible with Ableton, in the present state of things. They are with the other software that I have tried (Reaper, Studio One, Wavelab).
SOUNDS

- EQ is one of the highlights of this console, 4 band parametric on mic / mono and 4 stereo bands set on the frequency bands are well thought out, in my humble opinion (75/300/3000/12000) even if I would have preferred 75/200 for the low EQ can compensate for the lack of low cut on the stereo inputs.
I can not make a super detailed stuff, ca take me ages, but basically this mixer has a great fishing is very clean and runs fastoche the whims of guys like me, routing level.
OVERALL OPINION
- I use it for 2 months.
- I have tried a lot of consoles all costs, this says this is the first console a little above that I have.
- I really like the preamp, eq, routing, groups, balanced inputs, inserts, 8x8 via usb, robustness and look ...
- The Incompatibility with ableton has broken my ouebs as they say.
- The Q / P is insane, saw the possibilities and sound.
In conclusion, this mixer inherits the expertise of the brand and offers a lot of possibilities, which makes it very comfortable inside and out and allows home studio to move to a slightly more pro quality not super expensive. Its strengths are many and the sound is clean with a big fishing and good headroom. As for the preamp, they are unexpected considering the price and see what comes out even pushed up the gain.
