Best value:
Excellent
User of the JBL brand since 1977, I had the opportunity to test the M360 reference at a rock concert right out, so I bought the M350.
The difference between the M350 legendary (and are evolving M350MK2) it is a way more.
As hi-fi, some will say it's better than a good 2-way 3-way bad.
ICI, JBL had an excellent overlap configuration with optimized frequency.
The medium is reproduced with exceptional ease, certainly, it's right, American, which can "shock" the cutesy ears accustomed to a more "hi-fi" ringing loudly in the bottom and top of the spectrum. Which is in stark contrast to the JBL philosophy which aims broadcast more realistic, what is called the "LIVE" invented by JBL WOODSTOCK in 1969 and confirmed by JBL CAL JAM (California Jam Festival )dropoff window
Throughout Europe Countless (enclosure constructed in Denmark in the Harman / JBL Factory)
the number of speakers sold JBL M series. Curiously, this reference is found only rarely on the second hand market.
What sets these speakers:
- Perfect clarity in the impact of the medium
- A rather dramatic dynamics
- An area of overlap between the serious and excellent medium
- A high medium that strikes quickly and well
A low Registry that descends well and with capacities to reproduce the intensity of attack of a bass guitar plugged into an Ampeg with a hairline between notes like no other.
and compared to other speakers?
80% of pregnant are only assemblers products that do not have the mastery of an integrated manufacturer as JBL nor the unparalleled experience of JBL.
So I did not waste my time.
That said, I found a "color" near JBL at Electro Voice, and Adamson.
The price / quality ratio is excellent in terms of the real manufacturer product which moreover is aging well and sold very quickly in 2nd hand.
Also in case a spare part should be changed, JBL book very quickly to hand the products assemblers.
I highly recommend this product and in the current series became the legendary SR SRX range (equivalent range) that sounds devilishly good.
