Basically, this is just a Big Muff Pi Russian amends Orion Effekte in Germany.
Amliorations: True Bypass, LED green, making external 9v power supply, upgrade the battery connection, adding a three switch modes (see illustration).
The switch select three:
1 - Big muff normal
2 - Boost
3 - Supa

UTILIZATION
Ben you turn the pots, we pitine the bypass, we change the position of the switch modes ... not much to say except that with a little skill, you can rotate the pots at the bottom and also change the position of the switch Orion.
SOUND QUALITY
Edit Orion and the switch 3 positions
1 - Big Muff Mode: his normal, nothing wrong
2 - Boost mode: it is a boost spcial enough, you lose a little fuzz but it is growing in volume, I use it like a tube screamer, but with a grain rather dirty fuzz (a me recalls the Pignose). To play the blues-punk lo-fi, I love it!!
3 - Supa Mode: fuzz more and more serious than the big muff, one approaches a lot of the sound of vintage Colorsound Soulbender: it's a standard!
The advantage of this small patch is to modif runir three colors of his diffrent complmentaires and his big muff: Sound Big Muff (which is the more "modern" of the three, one of the overdrive dirty death (first stooges, heavy blues harm lch and sound good 60's fuzz.
OVERALL OPINION
Orion offers its modification for any Big Muff (U.S. or Soviet). As long as we know a hack with a minimum soldering iron is very easy to do. Otherwise, you can order directly modifies pedals, which is a little more ... Unfortunately, prices have increased slightly since last year (50 70 mod kit).
In addition to the switch, True Bypass and taking external power supply are major amliorations of the pedals.
I've had a year and a half and such a change 'really gives this a more pedals: all my distorted sounds revolve around these three modes.
