Micro Analog fuzz pedal. (Audio copy of the Univox Superfuzz)
and when I say "micro" is not for nothing! there is just enough room to put a 9v battery in it, the circuit board is reduced to the extreme! q'elle tell you is much smaller that "a boss.
80 euros and cest cheap for a pedal of this quality.
2 knobs: volume + distortion (called "depth"), status LEDs, output and input (bypass special plastic ...), unfortunately (it's not the kind of bypass that is Clak Clak when the operates, selui it makes no noise !!!), 9v jack input.
UTILIZATION
Then, there's no easier, it's plug and play, the distortion is easily adjusted, the batteries last a long time, means not "clack" when the bypass "on laction, there's no background noise .. ...... but I think the input output jacks plastic will not hold up over time, like all types of plastic jacks ibanez, after a moment we find ourselves faced with two female jack that does more to male cables and it can be very annoying, especially if the effect is unplugged concert .... but hey I turn the sound on and forget the plastic.
SOUND QUALITY
Well, it's the copy of the Univox Superfuzz sound! and when you know the rarity, price, and the difficulty to obtain this piece (it's weird but it looks like all the Americans happy owners of this pedal is actually a kind of pact to do so q'aucun Superfuzz American territory, is ka see the number of ebay sellers who refuse Superfuzz sale overseas ....)
short sound is huge: A FUZZ ONE more Octaver (which rises in the treble only) plus a Ring Modulator in a compact pedal! third of the pots was a distortion of fuzz type but pleasant type "Sunface", rich in harmonics, two-thirds of the knobs you can access a huge distortion in the treble octaves, a substance is an avalanche of violence crunchy, a ring modulated fuzz a wish, such ATTENTION I THINK THE END OF WORLD IS NEAR .... unless it has to be my amp that burns!
is the same sound of Mudhoney "touch me im sick", or the beastie boys sabotage on the album (or the cramps to "smell of female", or Quicksilver Messenger Service ..)
Anyway, the original sound of a dead amp!
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 3 months and it kills like her.
I tried to make a DIY Superfuzz but it has messed up, then wait for the fuzz I made (which is a copy WARNING SOUND Univox Superfuzz's not like the copy complete the Superfuzz black catqui it is an exact copy but which is constantly out of stock at www.analogman.com (http://www.analogman.com) and still costs $ 200 ..)
for 80 euros I acquired this pedal without hesitation, the price / quality ratio is stunning! plus the look is very nice, so buy the, there is no other fuzz pedals of (a hand lunivox Superfuzz) have the sound of.
