No installation problems.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I work on a Sony Vaio 2.4 ghz with a hard drive of 7200 t and 1 GB of RAM.
My sound card is a RME Multiface.

OVERALL OPINION

I Live user since version 4 on the same computer now.
I use it in Live and in studio.
In fact I wanted to compare the 5 Live Live 7 I just bought recently.
I have done this in order SHIFT to edit multiple tracks simultaneously.
The catches were made on 5 Live.
First disappointment when imported Live 7 projects (thirty tracks per track) it's hard to read. Stall and saturated drive which was not the case on 5 Live.
It took a juggling catch to carry voice.
However editing tracks simultaneously is simple even if it tends to distort the sound (choose the time-stretching algorithm).

Live off sometimes for no reason which could not before.
I feel that Live is more complex loses stability.
Ableton now offers packages of instruments that lights are strong freindly and make creating even faster which is still the big thing about Live.

In summary Live is a tool for creating extremely powerful and the stage for the production, however pure he currently shows some weaknesses compared to other programs that are not competitors, since Live is essentially a different tool.
I say this all the more easily the album I just realized that was completely recorded and mixed on Live Pro Tools HD and frankly the Pro Tools editing is something else ...
