Lamps JJ Gold version pines are allegedly better sorted and have a softer sound than the standard versions.
I love JJ ECC83 but I find them a bit too much gain, so I wanted to try these ECC803s which are presented as having a little more articulation and 10% gain in less
Honestly I have not really felt the difference in gain, actually there are more cons articulation at high frequencies, and for good reason ...:
- The JJ ECC83 has a very thick sound with great mids, lots of bass and treble down, giving the "impression of a block in its
- The JJ ECC803s a lot of bass, middle and back more than treble what gave me the clear impression that there was more than just bass and treble in my sound ... So to reserve amps giving a lot of media naturally (and therefore certainly not in my ENGL) or fans of scoops in the mids
here is a lamp with a more warm and thicker than most current lamps found on the market but I stay on my ECC83
