Published on 09/30/14 at 14:47quartet used in my HIWATT, balanced sound, great bass, warm mid, treble not too intrusive. very quiet. a lamp however slammed after twenty hours of use (shock? default? ...). replaced by another lamp paired with my quartet at Tubetown everything is back in order. a lot of headroom, tone between a 6L6 and EL34: dynamic warm but without the garish side EL34.
