[published on 08/09/08, the Tung ground gold no longer interests me at all, against the ground 12AX7 Tung placed after the amps in v3 or v4 gives excellent results in my head v4 OUR custom amp it is perfect.]
I love this lamp in v1, it is richer and has more low mids than the 12AX7 Tung ground, it has a lot of gain, good dynamic and is hot enough.
The Tung ground gold is more safe (sound fuller and more bass) than the EH 12AX7, I find it better than dd ecc803.
Note that I changed régulieremt lamp in v1, so I go to the Gold Eh12ax7 or Sovtek wb, changes in sound are obvious and different pleasures.
