« really vintage »
Published on 09/29/12 at 16:40analog compressor rather small size, vintage 74 -76, 9v batteries
Silkscreen but Ibanez Maxon Circuit
for details of the components, I can not say.
out in classic mono.
no "true bypass" of course.
UTILIZATION
two knob difficult to get any easier, sustain and volume.
They are quite progressive provided to check their race.
SOUND QUALITY
a very particular sound, it pulls acute unaggressive, gives quite a kick in the ass to all od and fuzz the world.
For example, I had a Godin LG with p90, it transforms everything that the signal is clear. An engineer will tell you that mieuw me.
This is a vintage pedal, tailored to the needs of the past, nothing to do with the current offer that use more often the same components more or less derived from each other.
Design made for guitar use
OVERALL OPINION
For 8 years.
This is the only compressor that gave me the grain: the cp835 and cp9 are different
Subject to collector or nostalgic lucky to find one.
Choice to rebuild on.
