I would rather switch and entry switch and input, but no reason to repeat all that.

UTILIZATION

Must tweak a few hours to find the right settings.

SOUND QUALITY

It is indeed digital, it's obvious when you change the time delay in real time and made the beast jumps typical for digital.

Unlike the manual, the lo-fi just does not cut the treble, but also the means, be better to cut the treble on your amp (or console if you use it for mixing).

The switch solid-state/tube is impressive, in a tube is really like the sound of the lamps.

Here is one of the most interesting sounds of the beast: put the number of repetitions to 3 hours, time 0 or a little more. It is a well digital, but with the warble (yes, it is indeed a non-adjustable chorus) the sound is great. It's a very electronic, not really comparable with a spring reverb (which is rather electro-mechanical) with a chorus after. I tried it on the guitar, but also an audio mixer with a drum machine. With a synth bass that can not make sounds low.

The settings for the standard time (100 ms to 800 ms) are more bizarre. The knob with the repetition will (acoustically) in a small room giant cave / Cathedral in the middle with nothing. I like the sound of giant cave / cathedral and I can not find the beast less useful than the other delays, but again I find the sound too digital without the chorus. The time setting is more difficult than the period of one NanoVerb Alesis, but easier than the Danaelectro Forward-reverse delay. I had a Danelectro Rock-a-bye, (it There's a few months I no longer have) but I think the time setting struts easier on the Rock-a-bye.

The raison d'etre of the beast is probably to do loops (800 + ms, but it is possible to short loops of 500 ms +). Here the setting is less repetition and time is easier to adjust. (I tried by playing on the guitar with my BAR, with the effect only on the guitar) Here the sound can also be used without the chorus.

The sound-on-sound looping is the last thing before you activate the switch, but you're more effect on your instrument after.

OVERALL OPINION

I saw it on the internet that is there anyone with the dub. Yes, it is possible to use the beast to make mixes, but I want something more in order to change the analog time delay in real time. The beast certainly has its place in a good studio. (Yes, the beast is capable of a 100% effect)

For the guitar is excellent, but like most of the effects it depends what guitar you plug, especially with the chorus which changes the texture of his lot. The sound is generally very good, but quite different at other times.

The box is big enough, but it is also a chorus. The construction is very good, although rigid. RAPORT the price / quality is excellent.
