. overall improvement of the effect (of higher quality components)
. setting effect level (called FX mix or "blend" in EHX)
. switching to an 'intense' staining leading to moult: a chorus very deep, very "analog" and a warm vibrato and a ring modulator, sometimes late (slight delay 50ms type).
It can also be from self oscillation (careful to assay the "resonance" in association with the FX mix).
UTILIZATION
As you understand, the BF-2 modified by MSM is transformed into a pedal modulation multifaceted. It will take a little time to fully tame. Once done, it is a treat.
SOUND QUALITY
The sound quality is corrected. The original is already very good, nothing transcendent, therefore, say that it sounds even better!
OVERALL OPINION
Modified prototype MSM Workshop, my brief was brief: add a control level of effect (FX mix).
Delusions audio enthusiast of any kind, I would have left them free to add a second mode (thanks to the switch 2 positions) to go considerably further than a simple flanger effect.
Today I use mainly in coloration effect filter so fixed, the FX Mix allows very fine adjustment of the effect on the sound of my amp: the color without drowning either. It's very subtle. Setting "res" does not allow the fine tuning.
You can also put the effect in the background ("res" well balanced with little effect level), here enriched saturations.
The MSM Worskhop mods are very affordable, not more than 40 € for this amazing mod.
