« Slap Made in France! »
Published on 03/15/13 at 05:41My 91 Gibson Firebird was unfortunately produced with hyper powerful microphones 22k and 14k (like today for that matter), with a sound very close to a Les Paul and without current definitions!
So I contacted Marc "Tornado MS Pickups" which I made (by hand) a set of mini humbuckers as at the time of the first Firebird from 63 to 65.
And then ... the Slap I found a guitar that sounds like a Bird worthy of the name.
Neck or Bridge you get for your money.
Definition Grain, reduced volume or not, its clear or drive is a killer!!
I previously tried a set of Seymour Duncan Antiquity "Nothing" ..
To summarize, why buy Made in USA microphones relatively expensive while in France, Marc
(Nice guy Hyper) makes you pure wonders with lifelike sound to your taste or reworked for a more than reasonable price!
PS: I have also tried other mics set its production ..... Ouch ..
