Two weeks ago my Gilourish set is mounted on my Stratocaster U.S. 1996, and the sound is perfect, just what I was looking for a strat sound. The origination microphones were very soft, they were not distinguishable sound wood and typical strat. So I changed to the Fender Custom Shop 69. The sound was good, but too dry, not enough presence on the bridge pickup, it was in my opinion, not enough personality. So, I had been very satisfied with PAF 59 that I mounted on my LP, so, neither one nor two, I contacted Marc, which again, was great, and a great patience. I assure you that I was really clumsy. The sound of the neck pickup is just wonderful, it is precise, round, with beautiful serious, a lot of personality. He slams it is shiny, it is super short class with a thicker sound. With a good overdrive, fuzz, it's just great, you end up in the 70s, awesome.
The middle pickup is very slamming, very balanced, it has a lot of personality, it sings.
Micro Bridge, then there attention. In clean this mic less charm than others, but it is dedicated to saturated sounds. € 219 the set for this level of quality it would be a shame not. My next guitar will be equipped with micro Tornado MS by far the best I've tested.
