Side settings is succins, but it is quite normal since it is a power-amp: By channel, we have a volume control, and another of "Reactance" acting on the dynamic rendering particularly in severe . This rule in positive or negative with a center detent supposed to be neutral. And honestly, this setting alone more than justifies the interest that may bring to the Velocity series (at least from the 120 model because I believe if I'm not mistaken, the V100 has only the Volume).
UTILIZATION
No difficulty config, it's a power amp ...
SOUNDS
Used depending on the period on a pair of Marshall 1912 and a pair of ADA Splitstack each mounted with a V30 and G12T, and finally, with a pair of Yorkville Y115 which is a PA speaker with a woofer mounted 15 ". Why such a cabinet, very simple, I am over 15 years of system users and synth-guitar from the beginning I have always sought the amplification as neutral as possible. With the first two speakers, I routait my signals "synth" sound directly, and then I used the V150 with traditional guitar sounds. But towards the end, I decided to amplify all with a single system. I ended up selling it reluctantly because relief through my rig, including the purchase of an Axe-FX Ultra here almost 4 years. So I replaced my torque V150 + Cabs by a pair of asset returns that sound perfectly with my rig
OVERALL OPINION
Used nearly 4 years, I really liked its compact size and its sounds accessible via the knob Reactance I mentioned above which makes for a powerful and well at low volume like pushing thoroughly. I also tend to lower this setting on stage and repeat.
It is in my opinion one of the best series models.
