This is a set of strings which has very good sound quality. I tried it on my guitar for 2 months. I changed it because it does not suit me.

The "Flat Wound" (thread dish) provides comfort for the fingers, a sensation of velvet. They give a more "smooth" with slides and glides. The big advantage is that they drastically reduce the noise made by the fingers of his left hand sliding on the strings when changing position. The disadvantage is that you obviously can not use these "noises" for effects.

What should I do with absolutely no cons, it is the elastic cords threaded. ie strings Mi-La-Re-Sol. This elasticity makes them extremely difficult bends. It is impossible to go beyond a tone. Make a bend in a tone during a solo ask a movement of a magnitude very excessive and hinder the implementation of fluid solo.

This disadvantage (major for me) in addition to the high price makes me put a 6.
If you cons do not or very little "bends", I urge you to try. You could fall in love ...
