Longevity is excellent, as they are on my guitar for 2 years without any deterioration of the rope (not the least corrosion) and without any deterioration of his!
Of course, some like the shiny other brands or models of strings but on my acoustic-electric Takamine Santa Fe, I do not need to make it bling bling, I add a little bright at the preamp and it is I who sets the tone, not my rope.
For me, this is simply the best strings on the market.
