«  Quality, versatility. »

Wah "old" made with high quality components. It has all the options offered by the ("growl control" "quack control" buffer, and "5 positions selector ranks") brand.

UTILIZATION

Having several guitars (pickups single coils and humbuckers) and playing in different styles (Heavy, Blues and even Funk) all options to be able to use the wah in all circumstances.
In my config, my wah is placed in front of my fuzz pedal. The buffer allows the wah retain its dynamic range even with the fuzz engaged. The buffer is adjusted by means of a switch knob and a quick located inside the housing. Everyone can find the setting that seems the most musical.

SOUND QUALITY

-The "5 positions selector ranks" can play on the dynamic range of the wah (a fairly dark to create a clear sound).
-The "growl control" can limit the effect of "clipping" through a knob. Especially helpful with a guitar equipped with humbuckers that tend to saturate the wahs in general.
-The "quack control" can act on the shape of the race. Knob to 0 the race is very progressive, knob 10 the race is more explosive with the famous "quack". All intermediate positions are possible.

All these settings are very nuanced (it is never in the cartoon or extreme) and it is difficult to fault this wah. To test several wahs is one of the few who can both get away with his face clear and saturated with single coils or humbuckers. It is very versatile. The bass is well defined and the treble just loud (in a good sense).

OVERALL OPINION

You would your money, once scratched on your pedalboard no reason to change ...! Only drawback, the quality has a price, it is one of the most expensive market wahs.
